NEWTON, MA — A local Mexican chain is welcoming some special guests to its Newton location this week. New England Revolution players Brayan Ceballos and Tomás Chancalay are coming to Anna's Taqueria at 27 Lincoln St. on Tuesday, Sept. 16. The soccer stars will be taking up a new occupation from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. as they will be wrapping and folding entrees to support charity. For each entree purchased, Anna's will donate $10 to the New England Association for Colombian Children. NEACOL is Massachusetts-based and has the goal of supporting the local Colombian youth. Ceballos is a central defender who signed with the Revs in 2024. Chancalay is a winger who joined the team on loan in 2022 before permanently being transferred in the fall of 2023.
