Voters across Massachusetts will head to the polls Tuesday, April 30 for a special primary election for the U.S. Senate seat formerly held by Secretary of State John Kerry.
Tuesday's primary election will include a race for both the Democrats and Republicans:
- U.S. Rep. Stephen Lynch (D-8th), U.S. Rep. Ed Markey (D-5th) and Brett Rhyne (write-in candidate) will face off in the Democratic primary
- Former Navy SEAL Gabriel Gomez, former U.S. Attorney Michael Sullivan and State Rep. Dan Winslow (R-Norfolk) will face off in the Republican primary.
