Stone Rehabilitation & Senior Living Honors Three Remarkable Centenarians!
Alfred (Al) Blake, Jeanne Ryde and Julie Ganjian, all residents of Stone Rehabilitation & Senior Living, turned 100 this year

Amidst lively music, an Elvis tribute artist and much laughter, residents, staff, and family members at Stone Rehabilitation & Senior Living paid tribute to three residents who reached the impressive milestone of turning 100. Alfred (Al) Blake, Jeanne Ryde and Julie Ganjian all turned 100 in the first half of 2025.
“We are honored to have these three amazing individuals living in our residence,” said Edward Blake, Executive Director of Stone Rehabilitation & Senior Living. “Their warmth, zest for living, humor and spirit are an inspiration to us all.”
When asked the secret to her longevity, Jeanne Ryder didn’t even hesitate. “I stay active, spend time with my children and grandchildren, eat healthy and enjoy each day to the fullest. I still want to have fun!”

Julie Ganjian was the first resident to turn 100 on March 18, 2025. Al celebrated his birthday on July 17 and Jeanne’s big day was on July 21. The dining room looked festive with balloons, streamers, a gold inflated “100” banner and, of course, a beautifully decorated birthday cake.
Al Blake, who is Ed Blake’s dad, echoed the sentiments of all the centenarians. “We look forward to the daily entertainment, recreational activities and socializing with the other residents. He added, “They treat me very well here,” said Al with a smile. “I think I’ll stay.”
