Van Goes Up In Flames On Highway: Report

Three fire departments worked together to put the fire out.

NEWTON, MA — The northbound side of Interstate Route 95 was shut down for a length of time due to a vehicle fire, according to a report from 7 News Boston.

The Newton, Needham, and Wellesley Fire Departments responded to the scene at approximately 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, where a van had been fully engulfed by flames. The vehicle was removed from the scene once the blaze was extinguished.

No injuries have yet to be reported.
