1. Parade — will step off at 11 a.m. today. Head downtown to watch. 

2. Today is a Federal holiday so don't expect any mail to be delivered and city offices will be closed.

3. It's going to be a hot one - highs will be in the 90s and there is a chance some thunderstorms could roll through, according to the National Weather Service.

4. Have you seen Cedar Grove Cemetery? Volunteers flagged the graves of veterans on Friday.

5. If you're traveling for the holiday, you may need to fill up first. According to Boston Gas Prices, the lowest price in the city is Best Gas on Newbury Street at $3.69 a gallon.
