‘Dinner Drive-Thru’ In Plymouth Planned For June 16

Residents experiencing financial hardships due to the coronavirus can pick up a prepared family meal and bag of groceries.

PLYMOUTH, MA—In partnership with South Shore Community Action Council and the Cape Cod Family Table Collaborative, Plymouth Public Schools is inviting the public to its "Dinner Drive-Thru" event, which is scheduled for Tuesday, June 16 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Plymouth North High School. The school is located at 41 Obery St. in Plymouth.

To support families, local Cape Cod chefs have partnered with American Culinary Federation and the Cape Cod Culinary Incubator to create the Cape Cod Family Table Collaborative, which aims to provide nutritious prepared meals to those in need during the coronavirus crisis.

If you are experiencing hardships due to the pandemic, you're encouraged to come out to the event and pick up a prepared family meal and bag of groceries.

During the drive-thru event, volunteers handing out take-home dinners and groceries will be wearing appropriate face coverings and gloves.
