Level Up Your Summer: "Peter and the Starcatcher" Lands in Plymouth! 🚀

Peter Pan's adventurous prequel captures the everlasting spirit of childhood in Plymouth.

Calling all adventurers, dreamers, and anyone who's ever secretly wished they could fly! Get ready to dive deep into the origins of a legend with Americana Theatre Company's (ATC) production of "Peter and the Starcatcher," hitting the stage at the Spire Center for Performing Arts from July 5th to 20th.

Forget everything you think you know about Peter Pan. This isn't your grandma's fairytale. "Peter and the Starcatcher" is the Tony Award® winning prequel that’s packed with hilarious moments, epic adventures, and a surprising amount of heart. Think "Pirates of the Caribbean" meets "Stranger Things" but with more magic and even more laughs.

Why should you care? Because this show is a wild ride! You’ll witness the untold story of how an orphan boy became the iconic Peter Pan, complete with:

  • Swashbuckling Pirates: Led by the ridiculously funny Black Stache (who might just remind you of that one friend who's always extra).
  • Mysterious Islanders: Because what's an adventure without a few unexpected encounters?
  • A Trunk Full of 'Starstuff': This isn't just glitter, fam. This is the stuff of dreams (and maybe a little bit of chaos).
  • Serious Talent: Directed by Jesse M. Sullivan, this cast and crew are bringing their A-game, from the sick set designs to the killer costumes.

Director Jesse Sullivan sums it up: "Every good story has layers, and the tale of the boy who never grew up is no exception. This is one of those magical pieces that lets our performers stretch their talents and imagination, exploring the origins of the story we think we know... In this Neverland, everyone's a pirate, everyone's a lost boy, and of course, everyone wants to see if they can fly!"
Meet the Squad: The stage is stacked with an awesome cast, including Christian Simpson as Boy/Peter, Abby Kramer as Molly Aster, and Derek Grant Martin as the infamous Black Stache. Seriously, this crew is going to bring the house down.

New to live theatre? No worries! "Peter and the Starcatcher" is the perfect entry point. It’s vibrant, fast-paced, and immersive. Plus, the Spire Center is fully accessible and air-conditioned, so you can chill while you thrill.

Ready to snag your tickets? Don't sleep on this! Tickets are just $45 for adults and $40 for students and seniors. This is your chance to see a professional, high-quality show right here in Plymouth.
