Plymouth Resident To Be Featured On World Channel

Caroline Chapin, of Plymouth, will be featured storyteller in new season of Stories from the Stage, airing on the World Channel this fall.

PLYMOUTH, MA — A Plymouth resident is scheduled to be a featured speaker in the award-winning World Channel series, Stories from the Stage. Season three of the series is set to premiere this fall. In her story, Chapin will share her story about becoming a pilgrim at Plymouth Plantation and becoming intensely curious about the lives of the tourists.

Hosted by Theresa Okokon and Wes Hazard, the series showcases extraordinary stories of ordinary people. The episode featuring Chapin will air Monday, Nov. 18, at 9:30 p.m. on the World Channel, on Saturday, Nov. 23 at 11:30 p.m. on WGBH 2 and on Sunday, Nov. 24 on WGBH 2 at 6:30 p.m.

"Stories from the Stage gathers tellers from across the country and around the world, who couldn't be more different, yet share stories that make us all laugh, cry and think," said Liz Cheng, general manager for the World Channel. "We're proud to showcase stories that illuminate so many different facets of our human condition."

The third season of Stories from the Stage will premier on the World Channel Monday, Oct. 28 at 9:30 p.m. with the episode "Summertime." Among featured topics will be "sunny days and balmy nights, when anything was possible, from discovering baseball to to encountering a bear," according to WGBH.

The episode with Chapin, airing for the first time Nov. 18, is called "Sounds Like Summer." It will share tales of joy and disaster under the summer sun, WGBH officials stated.

Season 3 of Stories from the Stage will continue through spring.
