Criminal Complaints Sought Against Juvenile for iPhone Theft, Delinquency

Boston Police are seeking criminal charges against a female juvenile for deliquency and stealing an iPhone from another youth.

The victim was at the Burger King on Washington Street on Nov. 9 around 6:30 p.m. with friends when the suspect allegedly asked to use the victim's iPhone. While the suspect used the phone, the victim went outside with friends, and then the suspect allegedly fled with the phone, according to a Boston Police report.

The victim's parent called the alleged thief to arrange a meeting for the following day to get the phone back, which the suspect agreed to do. But the suspect did not show up at the agreed upon time, leading to believe that the juvenile does not want to return the phone. The suspect stopped answering the phone, too.
