Farmers' Market Holding Holiday Food Drive on Saturday
The Roslindale Village Farmers' Market extended its season, and it will be taking canned good donations for the Roslindale Food Pantry.

The organizers of the Roslindale Village Farmers' Market would like you to bring food to this Saturday's market - canned goods to help out the Roslindale Food Pantry.
And for every five cans donated, you will be entered into a raffle to win a gift certificate to Birch St. House and Garden or Roslindale Village Main Street merchandise.

The Roslindale Food Pantry is run out of the Roslindale Congregational Church on Cummins Highway. And holiday season is when the need for canned goods go up, especially for the elderly, when it may be harder to get out to the store.
But Stephanie Cave, Roslindale Village Main Street's executive director, assured market goers that you'll still be able to get fresh produce at the market. Said Cave, "All of your favorite fall vegetables are still in season, I even picked up some spinach last week!"
