"I had an outstanding time as Principal for the Day at the Washington Irving Middle School in Roslindale. The students, teachers, administrators and principal were extremely welcoming. The strong school community pride and serious learning that took place was very impressive. I was especially honored, as my grandfather Thomas F. Meagher Sr. was the Principal of the Washington Irving in the 1950’s and early 1960’s before becoming Deputy Superintendant of the Boston Public Schools. Thanks Washington Irving community for an AWESOME time!"
