Kris Graham's Annual Recital a Huge Success

Friends, family and young musicians packed the Agnes Varis Auditorium at on Sun., May 6 for Kris Graham's annual flute and piano recital. 

Roughly 40 students performed pieces for the crowd, with works ranging from early Classical and Baroque pieces to modern pop and jazz tunes.

Graham, an Elliot Trail resident, has been teaching in the Grafton area for more than 30 years. Although she's been holding recitals for a number of years, this is the first time her students had an opportunity to perform at the Varis Auditorium using the Yamaha concert grand piano Varis donated to the school.

A special thanks to Cyndie Webster, who arranged the use of the Varis Auditorium, and to all the students and parents for their hard work over the last year.
