Eight Shrewsbury Residents Finish Before Boston Marathon Explosions
With the Boston Marathon ending four hours and 9 minutes into the race, not everyone had a chance to cross the finish line.
This year 22 Shrewsbury residents began their 26.2-mile run in Hopkinton. However, after two explosions occurred on the sidelines near the finish lines many residents were unable to cross the Finish line.
We have official finish times for eight of the runners from town, and we've heard from several more who have returned home safely.Â
