Fire Department Frees 10-Month-Old From Locked Car

The following information was provided by the Shrewsbury Police Department. Charges do not indicate a conviction.

Monday, March 18

9:28 a.m.: A caller from Tanfabulous Tanning or Boston Turnpike reported that a male entered the business and requested money for gas. An officer responded and determined that the male couldn’t speak so he communicates through paper.

11:22 a.m.: A caller from Vinnie Way requested assistance after they accidentally locked their 10-month old in a car. The Shrewsbury Fire Department was able to open the vehicle.

4:48 p.m.: A caller from St. Anne’s Parish requested the Shrewsbury Police Department to remove an unwanted male. The male was taken in to protective custody.

5:32 p.m.: Officers arrested Frank J. Delcid, 31, of 50 Kinglet Dr. on a warrant charge of possession of a drug without a prescription.

6:54 p.m.: A 911 caller from Gulf Street reported an injured fox.

7:49 p.m.: An officer took a report of a missing person.

Tuesday, March 19

Continuing: Officers issued more than a dozen parking ban violations around town.

11:51 a.m.: A caller from Shrewsbury Crossing reported a larceny.

5:39 p.m.: A resident of Boylston Street went in to the police station to report a larceny.
