First Congregational Welcomes Female Pastor

Members of the First Congregational Church are witnessing history this month. Leaders of the church have selected a new pastor and it is a first for the congregation.

Lynne Dolan will be the church's first female pastor and she told the Worcester Telegram and Gazette that she couldn't be happier, especially because of the staff she gets to work with here.

“It's one of the things I really love,” she told the Telegram. “I love working with other staff in a collaborative process, and I feel very fortunate to be able to do that here in Shrewsbury.”

Dolan the past 10 years of her life as a an associate minister at the Congregational Church in South Glastonbury.
