Framingham Man Arrested In Shrewsbury For Trafficking Ecstasy

The Framingham man was pulled over along Route 9 after police noticed him driving while impaired.

SHREWSBURY, MA — A traffic stop along Route 9 in Shrewsbury led local police to seize a large amount of ecstasy and cash from a Framingham man.

Shrewsbury police pulled over Gregory White, 35, of Framingham, on June 29 at around 9 p.m. after noticing him swerving between lanes near St. Anne's Church. When the officer pulled White over, he suspected the man was high on marijuana.

The traffic stop led to a search of White's sedan, and police found 174 grams worth of ecstasy pills in three bags. Police also found White carrying about $3,000 in cash. Both the drugs and cash were seized.

White is now facing charges including: trafficking a class B substance, possession of cocaine, operating under the influence of drugs, a license plate violation and a marked lanes violation, Shrewsbury police said.
