Health Inspections: Shrewsbury Pizza Places
The following health inspection reports were submitted by Board of Health inspectors.

Pre-operation inspection. Sanitizer at all stations, walk-in fridge is neat and everything is labeled, sanitizing sink is at proper levels. “Very nice, all great. Nice Job.”
Soft drink machine needs a thorough cleaning.

Pizza line coolers at proper temperature and very clean. Appearance very clean and organized, “nice job.” Dry storage very well organized. Ceilings, floors and walls are remarkable. Restrooms use proper signage, “good job.” Sanitizer at proper levels. Gloves not in use.
Re-inspection. All violations have been corrected, nice job. Keep up with the cleaning logs.

Papa Ginos, 50 Boston Trnpk. Oct. 15, 2012: Mop Stored in a heap on the floor. Walk in cooler, freezer at proper temperatures, nicely organized. Can opener blade must be cleaned better to avoid cross contamination. Corn meal syrup is laying down, make sure handle is facing up to prevent cross contamination. Stand-up cooler must have thermometer inside to ensure proper temperature. Restrooms and dining area clean. Ice machine needs to be shut down and cleaned thoroughly. Old ice must be thrown out.
Wall refrigerator needs to be cleaned. Thermometers needed in most coolers. Cutting boards need to be cleaned properly. Ceiling fans need to be cleaned properly. Allergen awareness training needed, anti-choking training needed, ServeSafe training needs to be renewed (training completed in December). Dining area OK, restrooms clean and have proper signage. Equipment stored properly. Grease needs to be changed weekly, steak station cooler is leaking and hand-washing sink is not functioning. Floors and walls need to be cleaned thoroughly in the kitchen.
Raw meat must be stored below ready to eat food, also proper labeling must include dates. Stove hood must be inspected by Fire Department. Hand washing signs must be present at sinks. Allergy signage must be present on menus. Restroom door needs automatic closer. Food must not be kept on the floor in the walk-in. Coolers all at proper temperature.
Re-inspection. Allergen awareness notice posted on menu board and printed menus. Grease trap has been serviced. All foods delivered to the outside are stored in locked receptacle. Prior violations from Dec. 2 inspection have been corrected.
