Man Arrested After Fleeing Traffic Stop on Foot

The following information was provided by the Shrewsbury Police Department. Charges do not indicate a conviction.

Wednesday, April 10

7:43 a.m.: An officer from the Shrewsbury Police Department reported past vandalism to their motor vehicle.

8:48 a.m.: The Animal Control Officer responded to a report of an injured hawk on Baker Avenue.

12:10 p.m.: A caller from Boylston Street reported that their mailbox had been hit knocked over earlier in the day.

5:10 p.m.: An officer stopped a vehicle on Hartford Turnpike. One male fled on foot. Officers caught and arrested Michael Boisvert, 22, of 78 Partridge Hill Rd., Charlton. Boisvert was charged with disorderly conduct, disturbing the peace, resisting arrest and defacing property.

5:41 p.m.: The Shrewsbury Fire Department responded to a grill fire on Westview Avenue.

7:06 p.m.: An officer took a report of a larceny at Shrewsbury Crossing.
