Man Charged with Drug Conspiracy, More Tires Slashed
The following information was provided by the Shrewsbury Police Department. Charges do not indicate a conviction.

Tuesday, April 9
1:57 a.m.: An officer reported that couches and other trash had been dumped on Bow Street.
4:17 a.m.: A 911 caller from the Shrewsbury Housing Authority reported multiple people in the parking lot. An officer responded and spoke to the people who were media members reporting on the recent string of motor vehicle vandalism.

6:55 a.m.: A caller from Shrewsbury Green Drive reported a car fire. Officers responded and took photos.
7:08 a.m.: A resident of Morrill Avenue went in to the Shrewsbury Police Department to report that their tires had been slashed.

10:15 a.m.: A caller from Shrewsbury Green Drive reported vandalism to their tires.
10:29 a.m.: A manager at the Shrewsbury Green Apartments asked police to remove members of the media from their property.
11:18 a.m.: Five cars were involved in a crash on Holden Street. Three of the vehicles needed to be towed.
12:50 p.m.: A caller from Shrewsbury Green Drive reported vandalism.
5:09 p.m.: A caller reported three men in a gold Cadillac smoking marijuana. Officers responded and arrested one person. Goitom Habtemariam, 26, of 60 Commons Dr. was charged with obstruction of justice, conspiracy to commit violate controlled substance laws, possession of false RMV documents and possession of a class B substance.
Wednesday, April 10
12:34 a.m.: An officer responded to a report of a domestic assault at CVS. Jian Tang, 18, of 34 Rosedale Ave. was arrested and charged with witness intimidation and assault and battery.
