Multiple Streets Sprayed After West Nile Found in Shrewsbury
This area of concern, which includes dozens of streets, will be sprayed this week in Shrewsbury.

SHREWSBURY, MA—The Massachusetts Department of Public Health has informed town officials that West Nile Virus had been detected in mosquitoes collected in Shrewsbury in early August, and that the risk level remains at moderate. No humans have tested positive for the virus.
The town of Shrewsbury coordinated with the Central Massachusetts Mosquito Control (CMMCP) Project to spray a designated area of concern on Tuesday, Aug. 14, after sunset, up until midnight.
