Police Arrest Seven Including Assault on Officer and Disorderly Conduct

The following information was provided by the Shrewsbury Police Department. Charges do not indicate a conviction.

Friday, March 22

4:57 p.m.: An officer stopped a vehicle on Maple Avenue, while he was giving the operator a verbal warning the driver became disorderly. Kyle Dealmeida, 18, of 9 Fairlawn Cir. was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct and interfering with a police officer.

1:40 a.m.: A caller from Sandpiper Drive reported a missing juvenile. The juvenile was located in Marlborough at 3:15 a.m.

Continuing: An officer issued more than a dozen tickets for parking ban violations.

6:26 a.m.: Jeffrey Dulmaine, 50, of 135 North Main St., Apt. B, Uxbrige was arrested at UPS on Hartford Turnpike and charged with larceny from a building.

3:35 p.m.: A caller reported that an egg had struck their vehicle on Boylston Street.

4:38 p.m.: A 911 caller from a business at White City Shopping Center reported an unwanted guest. Janine Chevrette, 46, of 11 Lake Ave., Apt. 112, Worcester was arrested and charged with shoplifting by concealment, possession of a class E substance and warrant charges of following to close to another motor vehicle and operating without a license.

8:14 p.m.: A 911 caller from Arbor Driver reported a domestic assault. Diane Wassel, 52, of 7321 Arbor Dr. was arrested and charged with assault and battery.

10:05 p.m.: A 911 caller from Ireta Road reported a suspicious vehicle in the area. Officers responded and arrested Kristina Samar, 23, of 116 Fitzpatrick Rd., Grafton and charged her with driving while under the influence of drugs and possession of a class A substance. Edward Norris, 21, of 51 Ireta Rd. was also arrested on warrant charges of receiving stolen property, carrying a dangerous weapon, distributing a class E substance, using counterfeit bills, possession of counterfeit bills, conspiracy and scheming for larceny.

Sunday, March 24

9:21 a.m.: An officer assisted the Shrewsbury Fire Department with a truck fire on Hartford Avenue.

11:50 a.m.: A caller from Kings Point Drive reported a break-in. Officers from the Shrewsbury Police Department responded and took a report.

2:25 p.m.: A caller from Kings Point Drive reported that their motorcycle had been stolen last week.

3:35 p.m.: A caller from St. James Road reported that a suspicious person had buried a bag in the snow. An officer responded and confiscated the item and disposed of it.

8:12 p.m.: A caller from CVS reported two females shoplifting. Police are seeking summons for both females.

9:17 p.m.: A caller from Arbor Circle reported that their locks had been glued.

10:33 p.m.: A 911 caller from the Rainbow Motel reported an intoxicated male. Steven Baldwin, 29, of 334 River Rd., Hudson was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct, disturbing the peace, resisting arrest and assault and battery on a police officer.
