Police, K9 search Old Faith Road For Break-In Suspect

The following information was provided by the Shrewsbury Police Department. Charges do not indicate a conviction.

Wednesday, March 20

7:38 a.m.: Officers from the Shrewsbury Police Department responded to a three-car crash on Boston Turnpike. Two vehicles were towed and one of the drivers was issued a citation.

2:15 p.m.: An officer responded to a two-car crash on Main Street at Route 290. Both vehicles were towed and one person was transported to the hospital.

3:53 p.m.: A caller reported two loose schnauzers on Camelot Drive. The dogs were returned home.

5:28 p.m.: An officer went to the Worcester City Motel and arrested Michael Fredette, 24, of 22 Providence Rd., Apt. 102, Grafton. Fredette faced a warrant charge of driving an uninsured motor vehicle.

6:38 p.m.: An officer responded to 50 Boston Turnpike where Nicholas Vokes, 24, of 1 East St., Grafton and David Adams, 26, of 270 Sunderland Rd., Apt. 12, Worcester were both arrested. Both men were charged with possession of a class A substance.

Thursday, March 21

2:34 a.m.: An officer stopped a vehicle on Maple Street and arrested Sean Boyers, 36, of 14B Grove St., Millbury. Boyers was charged with marked lanes violation, operating without an inspection sticker and drunken-driving.

4:15 a.m.: A caller from Fairlawn Circle reported a domestic assault. Shauna Lamoureux, 23, of 124 Ararat St., Worcester was arrested and charged with assault and battery.

4:30 a.m.: A caller from Old Faith Road reported a break-in attempt. The K9 unit responded and searched the area. The suspect was described as a male, age 30, 6 feet tall, 220 pounds wearing a dark coat and a hat.
