Police Log: He Likes to Party, Sick Squirrel
The following information was provided by the Shrewsbury Police Department. Charges do not indicate a conviction.

Friday, Nov. 23
1:13 a.m.: An officer stopped a vehicle on Cabbot Drive and arrested Danilo Dasilva, 22, of 60 Broad St., Marlborough. Dasilva was charged with drunken-driving and unlicensed operation.
4:29 a.m.: An officer responded to a report of an erratic operator on Route 9. After stopping the vehicle the officer assisted the female operator with locating her window defroster.

10:00 a.m.: The Animal Control Officer terminated a sick squirrel on Rawson Hill Drive.
3:01 p.m.: A caller requested the Shrewsbury Fire Department to assist with a child that was locked in a vehicle on Boston Turnpike.

5:31 p.m.: A caller reported an outside fire near Harrington Avenue. The fire department responded and located a burning grill.
7:42 p.m.: Officers from the Shrewsbury Police Department were told to keep an eye out for a male who had dental surgery in the morning. The male was reportedly wearing a long sleeve sweatshirt that read “I like to party.”
9:36 p.m.: An officer responded to White City Shopping Center where a person reported an assault. The caller was placed in to protective custody and the search for a suspect was unfounded.
Saturday, Nov. 24
9:45 a.m.: A caller reported an attempted break-in on South Quinsigamond. Upon arrival and officer advised that there was no evidence of an attempt.
10:20 a.m.: An officer advised of a person who was removing cans from recycling containers on Round Table Road.
