Police Log: Malicious Destruction at Dunkin Donuts

Thursday, Nov. 8

8:41 a.m.: A resident reported a past hit and run on Maple Avenue.

11:10 a.m.: Officers from the Shrewsbury Police Department responded to a call from the Worcester City Motel asking for assistance with removing an intoxicated patron. Officers responded and were able to get the male in to a cab headed to Worcester.

2:19 p.m.: A caller from Preferred Auto on Hartford Turnpike reported a stolen dealer license plate.

5:04 p.m.: A caller from Summer Street reported two males standing in the bushes near her house. Officers responded and checked the area but their search turned up negative.

5:34 p.m.: A caller from the Worcester City Motel reported a domestic dispute at the business. Both people involved were spoken to.

5:59 p.m.: A caller reported that she was walking home from the train station in Westborough. After receiving special permission an officer responded and gave her a ride home.

9:12 p.m.: An officer responded with the Shrewsbury Fire Department to a stuck elevator on Commons Drive.

11:03 p.m.: A 911 caller reported a single car vs. deer crash near Westermark Garage on Hartford Turnpike. No people were injured but the deer was killed.

Friday, Nov. 9

12:18 a.m.: A detail officer was advised about a disturbance at Dunkin Donuts on Boston Turnpike. Officers responded to the group of people fighting and spoke to everyone involved.

1:07 a.m.: A 911 caller from Dunkin Donuts reported that one of the males involved in the previous incident had returned, tipped over a coffee rack and then fled on foot. Officers responded and arrest Steven Magnus, 29, of 36 Shrewsbury Grn., Apt. F. Magnus was charged with malicious destruction of property, disturbing the peace and trespassing.

2:39 a.m.: A 911 caller reported a female was outside of their residence on North Quinsigamond. The caller said they wanted the female removed. Officers responded and transported the female to Worcester City.
