Police Search For Bridge Jumper, Drunk Juveniles

Saturday March 16
11:10 p.m.: A caller from McDonalds reported three males harassing patrons at the restaurant.

12:25 p.m.: The Shrewsbury Fire Department responded to a report of a fire on Centech Boulevard. The fire was extinguished.
10:58 a.m.: A caller from Avalon Way reported that their vehicle was keyed overnight.

3:40 p.m.: A caller from Olive Avenue reported a break-in. The resident had left the house but called the department when they returned.
4:41 p.m.: A caller reported that their motor vehicle had been stolen from Howe Street.
5:23 p.m.: A 911 caller from Main Street reported that their father was out of control. David Shays, 50, of 176 W. Main St. was arrested and charged with assault and battery.
10:12 p.m.: A 911 caller reported a female that jumped off the bridge over Lake Quinsigamond. Officers from the Shrewsbury Police Department responded with the fire department and medics. Officers discovered that the woman did not jump from the bridge but just ran away from her friend.
Monday, March 18
2:17 p.m.: A caller reported four intoxicated juveniles causing a disturbance on Ridgeland Road. One male was taken into protective custody.
