Shoplifting Reported CVS, Marijuana Activity on Boston Turnpike

Monday, April 1

8:40 a.m.: While enforcing traffic regulations at South Quinsigamond and Fairview Street an officer stopped a vehicle. Police are seeking a criminal application to charge the driver with unlicensed operation.

11:03 a.m.: A person went in to the Shrewsbury Police Department to turn in a bicycle they found near the power lines on Howe Avenue.

2:51 p.m.: A caller from South Street reported a noise disturbance. An officer responded and spoke to a band that was rehearsing in the garage.

4:38 p.m.: A caller reported a hit and run crash involving one vehicle and a guard rail on Hartford Turnpike.

4:28 p.m.: A caller from CVS reported shoplifting. An officer responded and took a report.

7:51 p.m.: An officer stopped a vehicle on Boston Turnpike and reported marijuana activity. The car was driven home by a responsible person.

8:34 p.m.: Officers responded to a two-car crash at the intersection of Main Street and North Quinsigamond. Both vehicles were towed.
