SHREWSBURY, MA — Shrewsbury's Annual Election saw 2,844 people hit the polls in town, about 12 percent of registered voters. With three races on the ballot and 11 Town Meeting positions open, only one race was contested.

The Board of Selectmen race consisted of Beth Casavant, Maurice Depalo and Benjamin Tartaglia competing for two spots on the board. Casavant and DePalo won the contested Board of Selectmen race.
