Shrewsbury Farmer's Market Kicks Off
The annual farmer's market starts on Wednesday and lasts until September 30th.
SHREWSBURY, MA — The Annual Shrewsbury Farmer's Market is back for the summer. The market will look a bit different this year with coronavirus-related regulations in place to ensure a safe shopping experience.
The market officially opens for the season on Wednesday and will be held each Wednesday until September 30th. This year, shoppers aged 60 and over will get priority to shop between 2:30 p.m. and 3 p.m. to reduce the potential spread of COVID-19. The market will open to the public from 3 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
In addition to the specialized hours for shoppers over 60, the market will be one way only, enter one way and exit on the other side. Volunteers will help direct foot traffic as well as give out masks at the entrance. A hand-washing station will be at the entrance of the market and each vendor will have hand sanitizer at their booth.
