Shrewsbury Rotary Recycling Fundraiser Coming To Town Hall

SHREWSBURY, MA — You can offload some household junk while benefiting a good cause Saturday in Shrewsbury
The Shrewsbury Rotary Club on Saturday will collect a huge variety of household waste for $40 per carload with proceeds going to the club's community service programs, including local scholarships.
The per-carload price includes items like bicycles, printers, medical equipment, old lawnmowers, lithium-ion batteries and lots more. There are additional charges for items like televisions and appliances.

The junk event won't accept items like mattresses, upholstered furniture, liquids and wood. Find a full list of what's accepted and not here. The fundraiser runs noon to 3 p.m. at Shrewsbury Town Hall, 100 Maple Ave.
