Shrewsbury Surplus Sale: School District Offers 'Bargain Prices'
A two-day Shrewsbury Public Schools yard sale will offer low prices on furniture, equipment and more.
SHREWSBURY, MA — You won't want to play hooky on this sale.
Shrewsbury Public Schools on Friday and Saturday will hold a surplus sale, offering "bargain prices" on a variety of items including desks, chairs and tables (both for teachers and students), shelves, filing cabinets and books.
"We will offer for public sale many surplus furniture and equipment items that are now obsolete for our operations, but may be something you need or want. Bargain prices!" the district said in an announcement about the sale.

The sale takes place Friday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and again on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The cash-only sale will take place at a warehouse in Worcester at 220 Barber Ave.
