Suspicious Fishermen on Main Street, Stolen Laptop

The following information was provided by the Shrewsbury Police Department. Charges do not indicate a conviction.

Friday, March 29

10:53 a.m.: A caller reported suspicious people in a Jeep on Main Street. An officer spoke to the people who were there to fish.

2:10 p.m.: The Animal Control Officer assisted a homeowner on Boylston Street with their sick cat.

5:35 p.m.: A resident of Fox Hill Road went in to the Shrewsbury Police Department to report they had found a small grey dog with a pink sweater.

8:05 p.m.: Callers from Lantern Lane reported a male knocking on doors for WGHB. Officers spoke with the man.

Saturday, March 30

2:18 a.m.: A 911 caller from Sheridan Drive reported a suspicious person banging on their door. Officers responded and directed the person to the correct apartment.

12:21 p.m.: A caller reported that their laptop had been stolen from their car at Willikers Tex-Mex restaurant.

4:41 p.m.: Officers arrested Keith Kniskern, 29, of 91 Lakeside Dr. while serving him an arrest warrant for driving an unregistered and uninsured motor vehicle

4:59 p.m.: Officers responded to a crash on Main Street. Two vehicles were towed and at lest one person was taken to the hospital.

8:07 p.m.: Officers arrested Wilfred Morin, 47, of 235 Boston Trnpk. while serving him an arrest warrant for assault and battery. Morin was additionally charged with possession of a class B substance

9:50 p.m.: An officer stopped a vehicle on Lake Street and arrested Seth Ruttencutter, 19, of 90 Brightwood Ave., Worcester and charged him with possession and distribution of a class B substance.

Sunday, March 31

12:19 a.m.: Officers stood by while partygoers left a residence on Lake Street.

3:25 a.m.: A caller said that the received a call from her daughter on Neptune Drive. Police responded to the house and took one male in to protective custody.

3:29 a.m.: A caller from Madison Place requested police assistance to remove a drunk male from his house. The male was tank in to protective custody.

9:48 p.m.: An officer requested a tow for a vehicle after he stopped the vehicle on Ireta Road and observed a marijuana violation.
