3 Charged In Somerville Shooting

Four people were injured in a shooting near River Road Thursday night.

SOMERVILLE, MA — Three people have been arrested in connection with a shooting in Somerville that injured four people Thursday night. Justin Ellcock, 24, Davel Matthew, 23, and Destiny Banks, 23, all of Cambridge, were stopped at the corner of Davis and Broadway Street in Cambridge around 11:15 p.m. Thursday, police said.

Officers found a stolen, loaded high-capacity weapon with ammunition on one of the suspects and two other guns inside the car, police said. Ellcock was charged with multiple counts of carrying a firearm, multiple counts of possession of a large capacity feeding device and possession of ammunition. Matthews and Banks were charged with carrying a firearm and possession of a large capacity feeding device.

Three women and a man were shot near River Road in Somerville around 10:30 p.m. Thursday, The Boston Globe reported. One of the women was in critical condition Thursday night, but all victims were stable by Friday morning.
