The following events were reported to Somerville police recently.

SOMERVILLE, MA — The Somerville Police Department received the following reports between Tuesday, Aug. 19 and Sunday, Aug. 24.
Tuesday, Aug. 19
8:44 p.m. — Police responded to a report of an assault on Broadway. A resident told officers he was punched in the face while walking on Alewife Brook Parkway.

Wednesday, Aug. 20
4:44 p.m. — Police responded to a report of a juvenile disturbance at a business on Mystic Avenue. An employee said the juvenile threw a can of soup at him. The juvenile was soon identified.

Friday, Aug. 22
2:58 a.m. — Police responded to a report of a breaking and entering on Bow Street. One man inside the the business was arrested.
2:55 p.m. — Police responded to a report of an assault on College Avenue. A man said a juvenile attacked him when he attempted to move a bike blocking a sidewalk and had sustained an injury to his lip.
Saturday, Aug. 23
2:28 a.m. — Police responded to a report of an assault on Davis Square. One person reported being struck with a brick by a woman.
Sunday, Aug. 24
11:46 a.m. — Police were contacted by a man who said his son was sprayed with a hose by a woman while playing at a park.
