SOMERVILLE, MA — The Somerville Police Department received the following reports between Tuesday, April 29 and Monday, May 5.

Tuesday, April 29

11:42 a.m. — Police responded to a report of a breaking and entering at a residence on Nevada Avenue. The resident said someone previously broke into his home and stole credit cards from his wallet.

Thursday, May 1

2:20 p.m. — Police responded to a report of a vehicle break-in at a business on Somerville Avenue. After trying to enter a vehicle, a man reportedly ran across the street and brandished a knife at a person. He was soon apprehended and arrested.

Sunday, May 4

7:24 p.m. — Police responded to a report of a past assault on Foley Street. A woman reported being grabbed by someone while she was standing on the sidewalk holding a sign.
11:22 a.m. — Police responded to a report of a fight on Hanson Street. Officers discovered a male suffering injuries to his head and nose. A witness claimed he was pushed by another man.

Monday, May 5

5:55 p.m. — Police responded to a report of a breaking and entering at a residence on Lowell Street. Officers found three units had broken into with jewelry and cash were stolen.
