SOMERVILLE, MA — A Neapolitan pizza place at Assembly Row that was among the first closures of the coronavirus pandemic is reopening. MidiCi shut down in late March, though the closure was planned before the pandemic hit and bumped up due to the governor's dining restrictions.

The restaurant is now coming back, Boston Restaurant Talk reported, citing the Assembly Row website and the locations page on MidiCi's site. Renovations were being done to the space, but it's unknown if any other major changes will take place.

MidiCi opened its first New England location at Assembly Row in February 2018. The restaurant featured authentic drinks and dishes – from artisan burratas and traditional pizzas to craft beers, fine wines and cocktails – to offer a "complete Neapolitan pizza experience."
