Casa B at Logan Airport, Filling Board of Aldermen Vacancies
Five things to know and do in Somerville on Tuesday, Nov. 12, 2013.

1) Casa B at Logan Airport
If you're traveling through Terminal E at Logan Airport during the next three months—which happen to have some of the busiest travel days of the year—you can get a taste of Union Square. Alberto Cabre, chef and owner of Casa B, has been selected to participate in the Dine Boston Visiting Chef Program, according to an announcement on Marketwatch.com. Other chefs who have participated in the program include B.J. Salazar of Sel de la Terre and Andy Husbands of Tremont 647. Terminal E serves international carriers, so now you have an excuse to fly somewhere exotic for the holidays.
2) Filling Vacancies on the Somerville Board of Aldermen
There's a public hearing tonight on filling vacancies on the Somerville Board of Aldermen. It starts at 6 p.m. at City Hall.
3) Airy
Tufts violinist Joanna Kurkowicz and pianist John McDonald celebrate their new CD with a performance at the Distler Performance Hall at 8 p.m.
4) The Taste Test: What a Bar Beverage Says About Your Personality
Stadium Bar & Grill posted this guide to personality types and drinks. What do you think?
5) Weather
Snow showers in the morning. Yes, you heard that right: Winter's coming, and weird CGI creatures with blue eyes are heading our way. Even worse, we can all expect an eternity of snow-emergency parking rules and shoveling. After the snow showers, it will get a bit sunnier, with highs around 43.
