Five Things: Castle of Comedy and a Ribbon Cutting

1) Castle of Comedy!
Check out the inaugural session of a monthly comedy show at The Center for Arts at the Armory. Some Boston comedians will perform, and there's beer. It starts at 8:30 p.m.

2) Quincy Street Park Ribbon Cutting
Come see this renovated Union Square open space at a ribbon-cutting ceremony that begins at at 2 p.m. It's on Quincy Street between Somerville Avenue and Summer Street.

3) Kindergarten open houses
As a reminder, this week is open house week at Somerville's public K-8 schools. You can visit schools in the mornings to meet teachers, view the facilities and meet other prospective families. More here.

4) Aldermen meeting
The Somerville Board of Aldermen meets tonight at 7 p.m. at City Hall.
