Five Things: Meeting About 70 Prospect St., CSA Sign-Up

1) 70 Prospect St. Meeting
There's a meeting tonight at 6:30 p.m. about plans for a development at 70 Prospect St., near Union Square at the intersection of Webster and Prospect. Plans call for a condo complex with about 15 units and ground-level commercial space. Tonight's meeting is at 220 Washington St., the police station.

2) Fresh Produce: World PEAS CSA
World PEAS, a CSA (community supported agriculture) group, is accepting new members. The group makes drop-offs at Tufts University and Porter Square, according to an email, and it provides freshly grown local produce from June through October. World PEAS works with immigrants, refugees and beginning farmers to grow its food in Eastern Massachusetts. You can learn more at worldpeascsa.org.

3) Author Chuck Hogan to Visit Somerville
New York Times best-selling author Chuck Hogan, whose book, Prince of Thieves, was turned into Ben Affleck's movie, "The Town," is scheduled to come to The Book Shop in Ball Square on Feb. 10. We mention it now so you can put it in your calendar.
