Five Things: Sending Aid to Hurricane Victims in Somerville, N.J., Parkour Workshop

1) Delivering Hurricane Aid to Somerville, N.J.
Somerville, Mass. and Summerville, S.C. have teamed up to help Somerville, N.J. in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy. Our city has collected donations, and today, at 1 p.m., a truck is leaving from City Hall to deliver the donations to New Jersey.

2) Parkour Workshop at the Somerville Armory
From the listing: "Parkour Generations Americas will be holding a day of workshops, training sessions, and open gyms." It's at the The Center for Arts at the Armory, and there are sessions for children in the morning. Sessions for adults begin at 7:30 p.m.

3) Free Friday Night Music Series
Matteo Casini plays some folk and blues tonight at Cafe Tango in Union Square. The music begins at 8 p.m.
