The winless drought continues on for the Somerville High School football squad. The team traveled to Barnstable Saturday morning in search of their first win, but they were sent home 32-22 losers.Somerville traveled 90 minutes south to Cape Cod for a rare non-conference matchup with Red Raiders and put up one of their better fights of the season, but it wasn't enough. In victory, Barnstable earned its first win of the season.The Highlanders will next be in action on Friday, Oct. 16, against Bedford.
