16 Years Later, Someone Has Finally Been Charged In Somerville Murder
The county DA held a press conference to make the announcement.

SOMERVIELLE, MA — Middlesex County District Attorney Marian Ryan announced Thursday that a man has been charged with the murder of Charline Rosemond.
The 23-year-old was found dead in her father’s car on Webster Avenue in Union Square on April 13, 2009. She had been killed with a gunshot in the head. Ryan announced during a press conference that 38-year-old Heinsky Anacreon of Malden has been charged with her killing.
According to Ryan, Rosemond was in the process of purchasing a new car during the time of her disappearance. She withdrew approximately $4,100 in cash from the bank shortly before her death, and the money was not present when she was later found deceased. Anacreon worked discreetly for a used car dealership, and was supposed to help Rosemond acquire a Lexus. After searching the residence of another suspect reportedly who was also involved with Anacreon in Rosemond’s murder, two gun storage cases and latex gloves were discovered. In addition, an empty bottle of champagne that Anacreon and the other man, now dead, reportedly drank in celebratory fashion after killing Rosemond.

“Charline Rosemond was a promising and hard-working young woman who wanted only to buy a new car,” Ryan said. “Her life was tragically cut short.”
Anacreon has officially been charged with murder, willfully misleading a police officer and willfully misleading an attorney.
