Gov. Charlie Baker encouraged anyone who attended large gatherings over the past two weeks to get tested for free June 17 and 18.

SOMERVILLE, MA — Pop-up coronavirus testing sites are now open for people who recently attended protests. The state is advising anyone who attended a large gathering over the past two weeks to get tested for free June 17 and 18.
Among the sites is the Cambridge Health Alliance testing tent at 230 Highland Ave. in Somerville. Hours are 9 a.m.-7 p.m. Walk-ins and appointments are welcome.
Testing is not limited to protesters, though the sites opened following large protests in communities across the state. Participants do not need to have any symptoms to get tested.
