The Somerville-based Grossman Marketing Group, which was helmed for decades by Massachusetts State Treasurer Steven Grossman, will continue working with the Boston Bruins, according to an announcement sent by the marketing firm.

It's the third year in a row the firm has worked with the Bruins, according to a statement from co-president Ben Grossman.

Grossman Marketing Group also works with the Boston Celtics, creating printed materials, sales materials and even bobble heads for the basketball team, the announcement says.
It's not the only Somerville business with relationships with the Bruins and other local sports teams.

Flagraphics, a custom textile business founded about 29 years ago by Ward 4 Alderman Tony Lafuente, created the 60-feet by 30-feet championship banner that hung from the John Hancock Tower after the Bruins won the Stanley Cup in 2011. The company also produced banners for the Red Sox.
