SOMERVILLE, MA — The police department announced it has made an arrest in connection with multiple instances of sexual misconduct that took place in the vicinity of the Marshall Street playground.

In July, police investigated multiple reports of children being confronted and inappropriately spoken to by at least two different men. One man was reportedly identified quickly but the other was not. Police have not revealed the identity of either suspect, but expressed its belief that there is no longer a threat to the community now that both men have been arrested.
