What's Open, Closed in Somerville on Labor Day?

The unofficial end to summer has arrived, with the Labor Day weekend now upon us.

Here’s what’s open and what’s closed on Labor Day in Somerville, and don’t forget - with the Monday holiday, trash and recycling will be delayed a day.

Town Hall and all town offices are closed Monday. This includes the Senior Center and the Public Library. All schools, both public and private, are closed as well.

All federal and state offices are also closed. This includes the Post Office, as well as the State Department of Emergency Management and other state public health offices.

• Retail - Retail stores in town are open regular hours at the owner’s discretion.
• Bars, Restaurants - All are open regular hours at the owner’s discretion.
