8th Annual Sudbury Summer Concert Series Begins Tonight

Check out the schedule of concerts to be held at Haskell Field at 7 p.m. In the event of rain all concerts will be held across the street at Fairbank Community Center Gym.

JULY 8th ‐ Friends of Broadway: The Friends of Broadway is committed to sharing the joy of music with people of all walks of life. We do this by producing musical events that include singing and dancing to Broadway songs and other American favorites. In the process of reaching out to our community, members of the cast participate in a life‐changing experience that they will always remember.

JULY 15th ‐ Better Her Than Me: Better Her Than Me is one of Boston's coolest, funnest, high‐energy bands, playing great dance music from the 60s through the present. Top 40, 80s rock, Motown, R&B, 70s funk, you name it! Members in the band have been performing together for more than two decades, and we've played hundreds of gigs over that Ɵme.

JULY 22nd ‐ Family Fun Night featuring The Toe Jam Puppet Band: Formed in 2000, the Toe Jam Puppet Band offers a special brand of hands‐on children's entertainment that grown‐ups can actually enjoy. The Dynamic group is great with kids, but best when parents are having fun with the little ones. The performances are very active, encouraging kids and parents to sing and dance along with the band as they entertain with a unique combination of original songs, masterful shadow puppetry, storytelling and just plain old good fun.

JULY 29th ‐ Adam’s Basement Adam’s Basement is a group of local musicians playing the hippest songs from the 60s, 70s, 80s, and 90s. The group consists of Tom Bechard on bass, Peter Best on vocals, Sudbury’s own Steve Kurtz on guitar, and Adam Zais, also from Sudbury, on drums. Young and old alike will surely find something in our repertoire that will get them dancing barefoot in the grass!

AUGUST 5th ‐ Reminisants: The Reminisants have been entertaining audiences of all ages throughout New England since 1973. The band's repertoire features dance music that appeals to a variety of musical tastes across several generations. The Reminisants are proud of their reputation as one of Boston's most enduring and consistent stage acts.
