Framingham Police Say Sudbury Man Violated Restraining Order

The following arrest information was supplied by the Sudbury Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

A joint investigation by the Framingham and Sudbury police departments resulted in the arrest of a Sudbury man late on July 11.

According Sudbury Sgt. James Espinosa, Framingham police contacted the Sudbury department saying they had probable cause to arrest a Sudbury man on multiple charges.

Joseph J. Carney, 47, of 354 Boston Post Road, was arrested in Sudbury.

The Framingham Police Department is charging him with:

  • Violation an abuse prevention order;
  • Misleading an investigator/intimidating a witness.
He was released to Framingham officers at about 11:31 p.m. and was scheduled to be arraigned at Framingham District court on July 12.
