Lincoln-Sudbury Makes Initial Super 8 Baseball List

This year the MIAA baseball tournament will include a Super 8 division, representing the best teams in the state, like occurs each winter with boys hockey squads.

On Sunday, the MIAA released a list of 32 teams who are currently under consideration to be chosen for the first ever baseball Super 8 bracket. Among those teams is Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School.

The Warriors are currently 9-1 overall with a 5-0 record in Dual County League play.

The Super 8 field will be selected on Monday, May 26, at 6 p.m., with the top four seeds hosting a first round game, according to the Boston Herald.
