Low-Speed Chase Through Sudbury Ends in Arrest of New York Woman

A New York woman is facing multiple charges after leading the Sudbury Police Department on a low-speed chase on May 13.
According to Lt. Robert Grady, an officer on patrol began following the motorist near the intersection of Concord and Boston Post roads at about 10:45 p.m.
Grady said the motorist refused to pull over as she led the officer on a 3-mile chase into Wayland. Grady said speeds never topped 30 mph.

When the officer was finally able to pull over the vehicle, Ping Sun, 54, of 7021 166th St., in Fresh Meadows, N.Y., was arrested and charged with:
- Failure to stop for police;
- Failure to dim headlights;
- Marked lanes violation.
She was released at 1:33 a.m. on May 14 and was scheduled to be arraigned at Framingham District Court later that day.

In other police news from May 13:
- A Mossman Road resident reported having a mountain bike stolen from the garage. The bike was valued at more than $250.
- Officers responded to a Dutton Road residence for a report of a kitchen fire. The fire was under control by the time officers arrived.
- A Raymond Road resident reported his mailbox had been vandalized.
