Maynard Man Arrested in Sudbury on OUI Charge

The following arrest information was supplied by the Sudbury Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

A motor vehicle stop by the Sudbury Police Department on May 12 resulted in the arrest of a Maynard man.

According to Lt. Robert Grady, an officer on patrol on Union Avenue pulled over a motorist just after 10 p.m.

After an investigation was completed, Geraldo F. Filho, 34, of 3 Florida Court, was arrested and charged with:

  • Operating under the influence of alcohol;
  • Unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle;
  • Failure to dim headlights.

Filho was held overnight and was arraigned at Framingham District Court on May 13.

  • An officer on patrol on Lincoln Road found a car wrapped in plastic at Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School. Grady said it was probably some sort of prank as the department never received a complaint call.
  • Officers responded to Boston Post Road for a report of a car striking a deer. The car did not receive any damage, but the deer died and was removed by the Board of Health.
